If you would like us to direct bill your insurance we will require the following forms:
You’ve taken a great step toward moving and feeling better. Here’s exactly what to expect during your first appointment so you can feel comfortable and confident from the moment you arrive.
Consultation
During your initial visit, you’ll sit down with the Chiropractor for a personalized consultation. This is a relaxed, one-on-one conversation where you’ll share the reason for your visit and discuss your health goals in depth.
Whether you’re looking to resolve a specific issue, prevent future problems, optimize your movement and performance, or simply feel and function at your best, this is the time we build a clear understanding of where you are and where you want to go.
Chiropractic Examination
The next step only happens if you decide you’d like to move forward with care after the consultation.
The Chiropractic examination gives us a clear picture of how your body is currently functioning and helps us develop a precise plan tailored to your goals. We’ll perform targeted orthopedic and neurological assessments that focus on:
- How well you move — including the quality of your overall movement patterns as you walk, turn, bend, or lift
- Segmental spinal motion and joint function
- Muscle tone and strength
- Neurological integrity
- Posture and alignment
This isn’t just about identifying problems. It’s about understanding where restrictions or imbalances may be holding you back so we can help you resolve current issues, prevent future ones, and optimize your movement and performance for the long term.
Diagnostic Studies
Diagnostic studies help diagnose conditions more accurately. The most common used by chiropractors include: X-ray, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), Ultrasound, CT, or bone scan.
It may be helpful to bring with you any copies of previous tests (for example, MRI or X-ray reports), lab results, and a list of any medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications, nutritional supplements, vitamins, herbs, teas, and homeopathic and / or naturopathic substances.
Diagnosis
The insights from your history, examination, and any necessary imaging give us a clear understanding of what’s contributing to your symptoms and how it’s affecting your movement and function.
We’ll determine if chiropractic care is the best fit to help restore proper segmental motion, improve how you move, and support your goals. If another approach, or a combination, would serve you better, we have a great referral network and can facilitate referral. Care plans often involve collaborative care with other health care providers, such as your primary care physician, physical therapist, orthopedist or a neurologist.
Your Care Plan
Once you’ve completed the history, examination, any needed imaging, and you decide to move forward,
we will create a personalized care plan to help get you moving better and feeling stronger.
The plan focuses on restoring proper segmental motion, improving overall movement quality, and correcting underlying dysfunctions through precise chiropractic adjustments and complementary strategies like soft tissue, mobility work, strengthening, and posture optimization.
Our goal is to help you resolve current issues, prevent future problems, and optimize your movement and performance for the long term.
