Dr. Tyler Fix
Chiropractor
Dr. Tyler Fix grew up in the Edmonton Area, attending University of Alberta before moving to Portland, Oregon for Chiropractic college at University of Western States. He graduated summa cum laude and was valedictorian of his 2007 class, so you know he was really good at writing tests almost 2 decades ago.
Dr. Fix spent 6 years working with amazing people in an amazing facility at River Valley Health here in Edmonton. The knowledge and experience gained at RVH are beyond comparison. He has had the privilege of serving all kinds of people from Professional hockey, football, basketball, and lacrosse players as well as Olympic athletes, many WHL, and high-level youth hockey players as well as active people from all walks of life.
In 2013 he opened Redefined Health. His vision is to offer treatment and education designed to help people get and stay healthy for a lifetime. Healthy people perform better, feel better, and recover from training or injuries faster.
A strong, flexible, properly functioning body is essential for health and the best way to prevent injury. Combining functional improvement with diet, exercise and emotional health additions ensure that everyone who chooses care with Redefined Health has the tools to live longer, better lives.
When he’s not working, Dr. Fix enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and 3 boys, as well as playing hockey, tennis, waterskiing, mountain biking, and golfing.
Dr. Fix employs a wide range of treatment techniques from extremely gentle to more intensive depending on the condition, patient preferences and responses to care. Exercise rehabilitation is a particular interest and all care plans will typically include self care exercise. He is trained in many adjusting and soft tissue techniques and has a keen interest in the transition from injury to performance prevention.
Dr. Amber Spellman
Chiropractor
Dr. Amber Spellman grew up in the Devon area, received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta and returned to Edmonton to practise after graduating from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. Since then, she has continued to educate herself on additional treatment techniques. Dr. Spellman has an education in Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, Spine and Nerve Entrapment ART protocols. She is also a certified Graston Technique and Kinesio-Taping provider. With her training she can treat several conditions, however, she does particularly enjoy treating headaches, TMJ dysfunctions (or TMD), pregnant or postpartum patients.
When Amber is not at work she spends her free time with her family (including her two children who keep her on her toes) either camping and travelling. She also participates in many sports including volleyball, golf, and softball whenever she has the chance.
Dr. Elisabeth Pang
Chiropractor
Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Pang graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Alberta. She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri to attend Logan College of Chiropractic. In 2012, Dr. Pang graduated summa cum laude as the valedictorian of her class and then went on to complete her Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation.
Through her years in practice, Dr. Pang has enjoyed working with a variety of athletes, of all ages, from amateur to professional. She also has a passion for helping everyone achieve their movement goals and takes delight in hearing patients joyful stories, from playing with grandkids on the floor to walking a block.
Dr. Pang has trained in a variety of adjusting and soft tissue techniques and is keen to utilize whatever techniques may ideally suit the patient and situation. Identifying some key rehabilitative exercises is also a focus of Dr. Pang’s care.
Dr. Leyanna Zubach-Cassano
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Leyanna Zubach-Cassano graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in June 2009. After working in BC for a year, she returned home to Edmonton where she began working as part of an integrated medical team at River Valley Health. In her 4 and half years of practice there, she gained a lot of knowledge in the areas of sports medicine and injury management, prevention and recovery. Dr. Zubach-Cassano is well versed in the areas of sports medicine, nutritional requirements for athletic performance and post-event recovery. She has treated many common athletic issues including muscle cramping, digestive disturbance during competition, fatigue, immune system dysfunction and more. Dr. Zubach-Cassano is also one of the few medical practitioners in Edmonton that practices prolotherapy- a regenerative treatment for ligament, tendon and joint injuries.
In addition to knowledge and experience in sports medicine, Dr. Zubach- Cassano’s practice focuses on general family medicine and women’s health. She has special interests in treating infertility, hormonal imbalances, irregular menstrual cycles, recurrent miscarriages, preconception and adjunct prenatal care, digestive disturbances (chronic gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, IBS, inflammatory bowel diseases), food intolerances, common skin disorders (rashes, hives, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea), hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis insufficiency (adrenal fatigue), stress management, sleep issues, chronic headaches and migraines, well-adults and well-children. Dr. Zubach-Cassano also offers acupuncture for pre-birth preparation and labour-induction, as well as for stress relief and sleep support.
As a former competitive swimmer and soccer player, in her free time, Dr. Zubach-Cassano still participates in both sports. She continues to be active in her daily life and considers this an asset in her ability to treat athletes.
Dr. Zubach-Cassano is passionate about her career in Naturopathic Medicine and hopes to always be able to share her expertise with her patients. She is a results-driven individual that will always work hard in the interest of helping her patients feel better.
Amy Andreychuk
RMT
Amy graduated from the Grant MacEwan 2200-hour Massage
Therapy program in 2008. She has been a member in good standing with the
Massage Therapists’ Association of Alberta (MTAA) ever since. After graduating,
she spent the first six years of her career working at a sports facility, where
she gained valuable experience as part of an exceptional multidisciplinary
team. Amy has been a valued member of the Redefined team since 2016.
Amy’s passion for sports and wellness began through her
involvement in sprint kayaking. She was a member of the Alberta Sprint Canoe
and Kayak Team for eight years and also spent six years coaching the sport
including an adapted program for people with disabilities.
Amy has a special interest in therapeutic, relaxation,
prenatal, and postnatal massage, and also offers sports massage and deep tissue
massage Amy has always valued continuing education. She completed her
Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta in 2019. Specific to massage therapy, Amy has pursued
continuing education through specialized training in treating jaw pain (TMJ
dysfunction), pregnancy-related concerns, Graston Technique, and fire cupping.
When she’s not at work, Amy enjoys spending time with her
two young kids and being out in nature.

Lilliana Nguyen
RMT, MOT
Lilliana specializes in deep tissue and therapeutic massage. She is the kind of massage therapist that gives you the deep tissue, “good hurt” kind of massage. Lilliana is certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Cupping and Kinesiotaping and is also wanting to expand her extensive experience through continuing education. Lilliana is also trained in craniosacral therapy, somatoemotional release, Graston technique, and Intraoral TMJ massage. Lilliana recently completed her Manual Osteopathy training.
In her spare time, Lilliana can be found adventuring in the river valley, trying new food/restaurants, or popping into the local boutiques amongst the 124th Street & area. If she isn’t out and about, she may be snuggling her two nieces and being the best auntie ever.
